Fu Lam

Fu Lam is a all you can eat Chinese Buffet! I like eating here because it's not like some of the other all you can eat buffet's that i've been to, where the price is affordable but the food is garbage. The food here actually tastes good for the price you pay, and their's a variety of things to choose from. Even their dessert table tastes good. You can choose from fruits to cake to ice cream all at an affordable price, and they also do delivery. The service could be a little better though I feel a little rushed sometimes. The atmosphere in there can get pretty noisy too. This restaurant is perfect for you if you're mad hungry and you feel like you can eat a whole cow without harming your wallet. On the other hand it's nothing worth rushing back to.

The thing about all you can eat restaurants is that you get to try anything you want! Another thing is that you get to have all you want so if you’re in the mood for say just shrimps, you can have all the shrimp you want with anything to go with it. You can change up your option every time and you get to choose how much you want. As soon as you get you’re table your pretty much free to go get your plate you don’t have to wait or nothing. My dad always brings the family here when were all in need of something to eat. One of my favorite things to eat here is their “shrimp”. The food is served hot but it’s not top notch, not delicious in the sense that you have to be rushing back too it was just okay in other words it was satisfying.

The service is pretty good, their pretty fast especially on busy days. The down fall to that is that I tend to feel rushed when they do that. As soon as I head for dessert they hand out the bill. The place is kept pretty clean, even their bathroom is kept neat. The décor isn’t so fancy though as you walk in there are pretty figurines and vases but as you walk on it gets pretty plain, there really isn’t much to stare at besides the food that stands in the center. The walls are bare and have no pictures or paintings on it. This restaurant is good for all kinds of occasions and it attracts all kinds of people.

Paris Crepes

This restaurant is known for their crepes. it’s located on Ste Catherine street downtown, If you have a sweet tooth this is the place the go. They sell a bunch of pastries like cheesecake, brownies etc. They sell a variety of different crepes. They have some with fruits and nutella and breakfast ones that come with scrambled egg. The atmosphere is inviting and the service is fast, what more could you ask for. You can get a decent entrée for under ten bucks.

I ordered the apple cinnamon with nutella. Honestly I expected better but it still tasted pretty good. It wasn’t my first time here and I know there crepes are pretty good from past experience. When you walk in the smell of the crepes being made is so intriguing but when you actually taste the dough of the crepe it’s actually tasteless. I noticed that with all their crepes. The strawberry banana and nutella crepe taste pretty good but isn’t the best, there just good. The apple cinnamon and caramel crepe was good but after a while I found myself tired of tasting so much apple. The taste of the apple was so strong it drained out all the other tastes.

One thing I liked about this restaurant is that you get to see from beginning to end how they prepare the crepe. Also there id this window where as you walk by the restaurant on the street you see them prepare the crepe live. It’s draws a lot of attention from the passers on the street me being one of them. The décor inside is pretty homey. The aroma of the crepes makes it feel so inviting. The workers are friendly too but their not so good with speaking English.

Yia Sou

This is greek restaurant located on queen mary street. They sell a variety of greek dishes. The atmosphere is cool and relaxing. The service is okay and the waiter was quiet charming. The food wasn’t all that great I expected better but it was still satisfying. This is not a restaurant you need to rush back too.

For an appetizer we were served bread and butter. My mom whom I came with was starving and ate most of it, when I asked the lady who seated us for some more she seemed irritated and never came back with anything. I ordered the chicken brochette which is grilled chicken breast. It took about 15 minutes before I received it. Their were about five small pieces of grilled chicken lined down the middle the middle of the plate. On one half there was a small portion of rice with two potato balls on each side of it. On the other half of the plate is a Cesar salad. The chicken was good but it wasn’t great I’ve tasted better. The rice and potatoes were nothing special. The salad was okay nothing to brag about. I would’ve enjoyed the dish more if their were more chicken breast and not so much salad. The cost was pretty decent for the meal, twenty dollars can get you a satisfying plate If you plan to go all out and order dessert you might want to bring a little extra.

The décor was really nice. I like the style it reminded me of some sort of a resort. The lights were dim low and the restaurant was quiet empty at the time. This made the atmosphere cool and relaxing like I could stay there all the day. The counter and wall was made of a long beige colored stone. Other sides of the walls had painting picture of ancient Greece. There were also some plants that came along the wall. In the middle of the restaurant was this tree surrounding it were other plants. Light sources hung from the ceiling and looked very pretty. This seem like a restaurant anyone will enjoy. there is also a tv in there were you could come hang out and watch the game with your friends. If you’re wondering what to wear dress casual for this restaurant it’s really nothing to fancy.
